My
faith is so week.
How can I possibly entertain the hope that
such a pathetic
faith can save me?
`You
may believe that Jesus is true to you, even though you
feel yourself to be the weakest and most unworthy of His
children.' (TM517)
`He
is watching over you trembling child of God. Are you tempted?
He will deliver. Are you weak? He will strengthen. Are you
ignorant? He will enlighten. Are you wounded? He will heal.
The weaker and more helpless you know yourself to be, the
stronger will you become in His strength.' (DA329)
`By
prayer, by the study of His word, by faith in His abiding
presence, the weakest of human beings may live in contact with
the living Christ, and He will hold them by a hand that will
never let them go.' (MH182)
`You
need not cast yourself away; for the Lord says, ``His life
need not be a failure. I will make him Mine. I will show him
that I prize his soul. I will strive with him, and lift him
up. He must not perish. I have a special work for him to do.
If he will unite with Me, believe in Me, and work for Me, his
weakest points of character, notwithstanding his past
failures, will become his strongest points.' (MM41)
