Surely
I am justified in being fearful.
With my flimsy faith, why should God
protect me and
my loved ones?
`Whether
on the land or on the sea, if we have the Saviour in our
hearts, there is no need to fear. Living faith in the Redeemer
will smooth the sea of life, and will deliver us from danger
in the way that He knows to be best.' (DA 336)
`Do
not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your
God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you
with the right hand of My righteousness.' (Isaiah 41:10)
`Fear
not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you
are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with
you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep
over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be
burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord,
your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour. Do not be
afraid, for I am with you.' (Isaiah 43:1-5)
